Every game in this lobby passed through somebody testing it before it went live. The useful questions are who did that testing, against which standard, and how long ago.
These pages are not written by the operator. They set out how independent testing works, what a laboratory signature covers, and which parts of a casino no outsider ever sees.
The One Casino brand opened in 2016 and runs under a Malta Gaming Authority licence. That licence is the beginning of the testing story here, not the end of it.

Who tests the games
A testing laboratory is a private company paid to examine gambling software against a written standard. A studio submits a build and gets back a pass or a list of failures.
Regulators decide which laboratories they accept. Under a Malta licence a game must be certified by an approved laboratory before it runs for real money, and the report goes to the regulator rather than to players.
Independence has a narrow meaning here. The laboratory did not write the game and gains nothing from your losses, but it is still chosen and paid by the studio submitting the work.
The arrangement still buys something real. A signed report leaves a dated paper trail, and a failed build must be corrected and resubmitted at the studio expense.
Approved laboratories
Names that recur include eCOGRA, Gaming Laboratories International and iTech Labs.
Who pays
The studio or the operator commissions the test, not the player.
Where reports go
Full reports go to the licensing body. Players see a summary at best.
What expires
A certificate covers one build on one date. Updates need fresh testing.
What certification covers, and what it does not
The word certified does several jobs at once. The checks below answer different questions, and only one concerns the casino itself.
| Check | Question it answers | Who is examined |
|---|---|---|
| Random number generator | Is the randomness unpredictable and unbiased across very large samples? | The studio |
| Return verification | Does the paytable really pay back the declared long-run figure? | The studio |
| Live equipment | Are the wheel, the cards and the shuffler inside tolerance? | The live studio |
| Operator configuration | Is the certified build the one actually loaded on this website? | The casino |
The first two are done once, at the studio, and travel with the game into every market. Neither says anything about the site serving that game to you.
The last row examines an operator directly, and that is the check published least often. Ask, and most sites point back at a licence number.
None of these checks predicts a session. A verified return is a long-run average over millions of rounds, not the rate at which a balance falls in an evening.
One game, several return settings
A slot is not always a single fixed product. Several studios build a title once and release it with more than one return configuration, and the site chooses which build to run.
The choice is commercial. Moving a popular title to a lower setting costs an operator nothing and is invisible from the lobby thumbnail.
The information panel inside the game settles the question. Open the rules or paytable screen and read the return figure printed there. That number describes the build in front of you.
Dates matter for the same reason. A certificate describes the build submitted in that year, and games get patched, features get added and maths gets re-tuned. A date only means something beside a version number.
If no return figure appears anywhere in the panel, treat the silence as an answer.

What is in the lobby
The advertised library runs past 900 titles from studios including Pragmatic Play, Play'n GO, Nolimit City, Thunderkick, Evolution, Playtech, Merkur and Slotmill.
Studio names carry more information than a headline count. A supplier serving dozens of licensed markets has been tested hundreds of times and holds a record it cannot afford to damage.

Nolimit City

Table games and classics
Roulette and blackjack are easier to reason about than slots. The rules are public, the house edge follows from the layout, and a single-zero wheel beats a double-zero one.
| Game | Type | Mode |
|---|---|---|
| European Roulette | Roulette | Live & RNG |
| Blackjack Classic | Blackjack | Live & RNG |
| Baccarat | Baccarat | Live |
| Casino Hold'em | Card game | Live |
| Sic Bo | Dice | Live |
Most titles open in demo mode on desktop and on mobile, the cheapest way to read a paytable before staking.
In-house and exclusive titles
Some lobbies carry games built by the operator or made exclusively for it. Those titles exist nowhere else, which is what makes them hard to check.
With a widely distributed slot you can compare the build here against the same game elsewhere, where a large body of public play data exists. An exclusive has no comparison and no crowd.
Licensing rules still apply, so an exclusive should hold the same certification as any other game. What disappears is the second layer: shared session data, recorded footage and cross-site checking.
An unfamiliar title with no studio credit on its loading screen deserves the closest reading of its information panel.
Seals, licences and what to click
A laboratory badge at the foot of a page is an image file until proved otherwise. Click it.
A working seal opens a certificate, a register entry or a status page naming the operator and a date. A badge that links nowhere, or that only opens a larger copy of itself, proves that somebody uploaded an image.
A licence line deserves the same treatment. The One Casino footer prints MGA/B2C/327/2016. A licence number can be looked up in the regulator public register, where the entry names the company and shows whether the licence is current.
Notice absences as well. That footer lists payment brands, an age limit and the licence, and carries no laboratory seal, so evidence about certification has to come from the game screens.
A fair game and a trustworthy operator are separate claims. Certification speaks to the first. Payout behaviour, changes to terms and complaint handling speak to the second, and no laboratory signs those off.
Bonuses and promotions
The welcome offer is a 100% match up to 1 200 C$ with 100 free spins, on a qualifying deposit from 15 C$. Standard promotions carry 35x wagering, and selected ones are advertised as wager-free.
| Bonus | Offer | Wagering | Min. Deposit |
|---|---|---|---|
| Welcome bonus | 100% up to 1 200 C$ + 100 free spins | x35 | 15 C$ |
| Weekend reload | 50% weekly | x35 | 15 C$ |
| Cashback | 10% weekly | — | 15 C$ |
| Free spins | 100 spins | x35 | 15 C$ |
Certification and value are separate matters. A certified slot can still be a poor way to clear a requirement. Clearing speed depends on game weighting and on the stake cap applied while a bonus is live.
Loyalty and VIP
Stakes earn loyalty points that convert into perks, and higher tiers add raised limits and a named account contact. Check the earn rate before treating a tier as a reason to keep playing.
Seasonal promotions
Tournaments, prize drops and themed campaigns run through the year. Leaderboard events reward volume, which is worth knowing before entering one.

Verification
Licence conditions require every player to be identified, so the checks are not optional. Reviews usually finish inside 24 to 48 hours.
| Document | Purpose | Time |
|---|---|---|
| Photo ID | Confirms who you are | Under 2 minutes to upload |
| Proof of address | Confirms where you live | Within 24 hours |
| Payment proof | Confirms the method is yours | Within 24 hours |
The login page covers the form and the checks in detail.
Live casino
Live tables are dealt by people, so no random number generator is involved. Testing is physical: wheel balance, card shoes, shufflers and the software reading the table.
Evolution supplies most of the streams, with roulette, blackjack, baccarat and game-show formats running around the clock.
A live table has a house edge you can work out from its published rules, and side bets almost always carry a worse edge than the main game.
Deposits and withdrawals
Deposits clear instantly on cards, e-wallets and Paysafecard. The minimum deposit is 15 C$, and the card ceiling runs up to 10 000 C$.
| Method | Time | Min. | Max. |
|---|---|---|---|
| Visa / Mastercard | Instant | 15 C$ | 10 000 C$ |
| Skrill / Neteller | Instant | 15 C$ | 10 000 C$ |
| Paysafecard | Instant | 15 C$ | 2 000 C$ |
| Bank transfer | 1–3 days | 15 C$ | 10 000 C$ |
Withdrawals start at 20 C$ and are processed in the order received.
| Method | Time | Min. | Max. |
|---|---|---|---|
| Skrill / Neteller | 0–24 hours | 20 C$ | 10 000 C$ |
| Visa / Mastercard | 1–3 days | 20 C$ | 10 000 C$ |
| Bank transfer | 3–5 days | 20 C$ | 10 000 C$ |
E-wallets clear fastest because money moves between two accounts on rails built for it. A card payout travels back through the card scheme and the issuing bank, each with its own settlement cycle, so days replace hours.
A first withdrawal is usually the slowest, because identity checks finish alongside it.
Playing on a phone
There is nothing to install. The lobby runs in a mobile browser and rescales, so games, the cashier and account settings all work on a phone.
| Device | Browser | Status |
|---|---|---|
| iPhone / iPad | Safari, Chrome | Fully supported |
| Android | Chrome, Firefox | Fully supported |
| Desktop | Any modern browser | Fully supported |
Paytables collapse into a scrolling menu on a phone, so the return line takes more taps to reach and is still worth reaching. The mobile guide covers home-screen shortcuts.
Staying in control
Certification says a game behaves as described, and nothing about how long to play or how much to stake. The tools below are the part of the account you control.
| Tool | What it does |
|---|---|
| Deposit limits | Caps what you can pay in per day, week or month. |
| Session reminders | Tell you how long the current session has run. |
| Self-exclusion | Closes access for a fixed period or indefinitely. |
| Reality check | Summarises stakes and time in a scheduled pop-up. |
| Time-out | Locks the account from 24 hours up to 6 weeks. |
A limit applies at once when lowered and waits out a cooling-off period when raised. Independent help is available from organisations such as Gambling Therapy.
Customer support
Support runs at all hours. Live chat answers fastest and produces a transcript you can save.
| Channel | Availability | Response |
|---|---|---|
| Live chat | 24/7 | Instant |
| 24/7 | Within a few hours | |
| Phone | 24/7 | Instant |
| Help centre | Always available | Self-service |
Put anything about a payment or a bonus in writing by email, so a timestamped record exists if the answer needs escalating.
Frequently asked questions
Does a licence mean every game has been tested?
It means the operator must run games certified by a laboratory the regulator approves. It does not mean the paperwork has been published for you to read.
Where do I find the return figure for a game?
Inside the game. Open the rules or paytable screen and scroll to the end, where the declared return for the build you are playing is printed.
Can the same slot pay differently at two casinos?
Yes. Several studios ship a title with more than one return configuration, and the site running the game selects which one loads.
What does a testing laboratory not check?
Nothing about payout speed, the wording of terms or complaint handling. Those are questions about the operator, not the software.
Is a badge in a footer proof of anything?
Only if it links somewhere. A real seal opens a certificate or a register entry naming the operator and a date.
Are in-house games less safe?
Not automatically. The same licensing obligations apply, but no copy exists elsewhere to compare against, so an unusual result is harder to spot.
How long do withdrawals take?
E-wallet payouts usually clear within 24 hours. Cards take one to three days and bank transfers three to five.
